Lagos State government has shut down the popular electronic Ladipo market due to uprising in the market caused by clashes between the traders and security operatives which led to the death of a trader after some of the protesters allegedly fired gun shots.
According to reports that armed security men are at the market to quell any crisis that might occur. The market that is mostly dominated by Igbos selling spare parts and electronics witnessed a protest a day ago by the traders over alleged extortion by One Monday Ijoba employed by the state government to collect fees from the traders.
